Cal’s Corner

I was responsible for designing and executing the fabrication of key environmental elements for this school library space in memory of a former student.

This involved constructing a large, visually engaging faux tree using a variety of materials such as foam, branches, and artificial foliage, requiring both structural assembly and detailed painting skills. Additionally, I designed and fabricated custom acrylic signage for the area.

To further enhance the immersive quality of the space, I also fabricated and installed faux cobblestone surfaces using materials like foam and aggregate, demanding attention to detail in creating a specific aesthetic and texture.

This project highlights my ability to translate a conceptual need into tangible, themed installations through hands-on fabrication, material selection, and finishing techniques.
